1. Our Privacy Policy
We recognize the importance of protecting the privacy of the personally identifiable information you provide to us and to our clients, advertisers, service providers and other affiliates (collectively “Affiliates”) in connection with your use of the websites, services, products, promotions, mobile applications, and software applications owned, managed or provided to you by us or on behalf of us (collectively, the “Sites”). Digital Auto Guides® (a wholly owned company of Sierra Software Solutions and Consulting, LLP) created this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) to help you understand what information we collect (whether personally identifiable or not), how we collect it, how we use it, how we share it, how we protect it, and how you can control it.

Our Sites may also include links to third-party websites, products and services. This Privacy Policy only applies to our collection and use of your information within our Sites. Any linked websites, products and services of third parties, and their collection and use of your information, are governed by the privacy policies of the respective third parties. We encourage you to learn about the privacy practices of those third parties.
3. Updates
We will continue to update this Privacy Policy if we change our procedures for handling relevant information, and we will indicate the date when the Privacy Policy was last updated. If we make any material changes, we will provide notice on the Sites prior to the change becoming effective. Our most recent Privacy Policy will continue to be available to you on our website.
4. Types of Information
In connection with your visits or other use of our Sites, we may collect data that does not personally identify you.
a. Cookies
When you visit a Site, we may store one or more cookies or other similar information (i.e., a string of alphanumeric characters or small text file that includes information that relates to your use of our Sites) on your device. We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Sites. These persistent cookies can be removed, but each web browser is a little different. Please review your browser’s Help menu to learn how to modify your cookies setup and how to manage your cookies.
b. Location Information
Use of the Sites, including our mobile applications, may include location-based services. If you use those services, we may receive information about your location which we may use to send you geographically relevant promotions or advertisements.
c. Data Retention
We retain all information we collect about you for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.
d. Data
Data created by you within the app is confined to car information and application choices within the Settings panel and My Cars. This data is stored locally on the device. It can be removed by you by removing the app or clearing the application data from your device. No personal information or history is kept on the device or anywhere else during your use of the app. Any trips that you share directly or via the Feedback Report are not personally identifiable and may be deleted within 30 days.
5. When We Share Information
a. Personally Identifiable Information
We do not collect or share personally identifiable information with our Affiliates or other third-parties for their marketing or promotional uses except as part of a specific program or feature in which you have chosen to participate, in which case we authorize those Affiliates or third parties to use your personally identifiable information only as necessary.
b. Feedback Reports
If you choose to e-mail your Feedback Reports that is done solely in your devices email program. Digital Auto Guides® simply prepares the email message but is not involved in any other aspects nor do we have any visibility or control of your e-mail messages or application. We cannot see or have visibility of your address list or any additional content you may put into the e-mail message after we construct the draft message based on the log data you selected. 6. Your Choices
If you wish to no longer receive information about our products or services you have registered to receive, send an e-mail to info@digitalautoguides.com with the registered electronic mail address with the subject titled REMOVE, and we will remove you from any mailings in the future.
7. Community Forum/Blogs; User Generated Content
We may ourselves manage and operate a blog, discussion board or other public forum, or otherwise permit registered users to post comments, photos, video and other user-generated content to areas within the Sites (collectively, “Community Forum”). This Privacy Policy does not apply to the user-generated content and personally identifiable information you post to a Community Forum, and we are not responsible for any use of information you post to a Community Forum, whether hosted by us or an Affiliate. To request removal of your personally identifiable information from our Community Forums, please contact us at this website: https://www.digitalautoguides.com/contact/. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your personally identifiable information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.
8. Social Media Widgets
Our Sites may include social media features, such as widgets provided by Facebook, Twitter, Google and Pinterest, or interactive mini-programs that run on our Sites. These features may collect your IP address, which page you are visiting on our site, and may set a cookie to enable the feature to function properly. Social media features and widgets are either hosted by a third party or hosted directly on our Site. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policy of the company providing it.
